The IMDataCenter Platform leverages multiple data solutions for your convenience and is priced extremely competitively.
The Platform offers 3 options to choose from depending on your volume of transactions and access to solutions. Sign up is free, and all transactional pricing is the same across all 3 options. The only difference is on the level of access to solutions like API’s and FTP’s. Volume minimums are waived on 2 of the 3 solutions and unlike other platforms, pricing is aggregated across ALL solutions for the month, which goes towards your pricing plan option. Some of the products are priced on match, and some are priced on total input of the number of records. All pricing is easily displayed for you to see when you log in, and best of all pricing is extremely competitive and includes volume discounts for your bigger databases!

The IMDataCenter Platform has an easy setup process; all you have to do is create a user ID and password — and that’s it! We’ve made things simple and efficient for users at all levels of expertise. Plus, there are no long drawn-out training videos or tutorials. Just upload your file, pick the solution you want, setup your job by mapping your key data elements, and press go. Then download your file with the proper data elements you asked for — and you’re done!
You can provide a file in any database format including excel, comma delimited (with quotes), tab delimited, dBase, access, fixed width layout, etc.
The Platform is an automated system which will require your credit card information to submit your file(s) for processing and checkout. Or, if you have a prepaid plan, we will bill your card any overages that occur during the month. Checkout is completely secure and we accept all major credit cards.

Data Hygiene & Data Enhancement

Data hygiene is the processes conducted to ensure the cleanliness of data. Data is considered clean if it is relatively error-free. Bad or “Dirty Data” can be caused by a number of factors including duplicate records, incomplete or outdated data, and the improper parsing of record fields from disparate systems. Errors can be introduced at any stage as data is entered, stored and managed. Industry analysts say 30% of data will be “dirty” or go bad over the course of a year if there is no data hygiene performed on a company’s CRM or database.

Our Proprietary Change Of Address (PCOA) processing includes everything the 48-month NCOA provides PLUS all of the following:

  • Picks up people who have not registered for change of address through the US Postal Service (about 20% of all movers every year)
  • Picks up people who have moved for up to the last 30 years
  • Confirms the person input lives at the current address (NCOA only picks them up if they have moved)
  • Includes deceased processing as well as flags people who have signed up for the Do-Not-Mail list

The goal of our API Web Service is to expedite your data processing into mere (sub)seconds (on an individual level) that can be integrated into your own database environments for multiple value-added applications. Our instructional/sample code can be found at: https://docs.imdatacenter.com.

These API Web Services control external access, security, as well as both receiving and return requests/results to the client. The five forward request types available via the API Web Service are detailed below.

The Request will contain the access authorization (x-api-key in header), the type of request, the client id, and additional parameters specific to the request type. Each Request can contain multiple Request Types which are listed below in priority. Each Record should contain the data on a single individual or business to be processed. The elements of the Record vary as required by the request type.

Forward Append Request Types:

  3. FP: Forward Phone Append
  4. FE: Forward Email Append

Reverse Append Request Types:

  1. Reverse Phone Append

NCOA stands for National Change Of Address and it’s a service that the IMDataCenter Platform offers to increase the accuracy of your current client list, and qualify you for postal discounts. The Platform offers 2 types of NCOA:

  1. 18-month US Postal service processing and flags moves 19-48 months (but does not provide a new address on the 19-48 month). Includes DPV (Delivery Point Validation) and duplicate detection.
  2. 48-month NCOAA, which includes the full 48-month US Postal move update as well as DPV and duplicate detection.
    In order to receive the updated/corrected addresses, it’s necessary to complete a NCOA PAF form (more info below) that the US Postal Service requires for all NCOAs run.
The Processing Acknowledgement Form (PAF) is a form required by the US Postal Service. The USPS provides change of address information through the use of NCOA processing, and the collection of information on a PAF is required by the Privacy Act of 1974. The USPS requires that each NCOALink Licensee have a completed NCOALink PAF for each of their NCOALink customers prior to providing the NCOALink service.

Depending on what market(s) you are in, you may need to update your data weekly, monthly, quarterly or twice-a-year using our NCOA or PCOA solutions.
